Week 8 - Photoshopped models

For this Photoshop, I've used the model that I created in Fusion 360. It is a very modern design, architecturally, and this has sparked my thought process in what materials I would use in my three designs. I thought it would be interesting to show how houses have developed through the times to what we are currently seeing. It is intriguing how the common building has changed with the developments in knowledge, technology, and societal ideals.

THE TUDOR ERA STYLE

The red wood, stone base, and old roof tiles accompanied by the style of door and window frames were common throughout this period.

THE 1930s STYLE

The most popular style was houses with mostly brick, mixed with other materials, shown here with a cream wall. The roofs had clay tiles and homes were often two-storey-ed.

THE CONTEMPORARY STYLE

The house of the "now". Architects and builders are increasingly experimenting with different materials and shapes to create bold, sleek designs far from the ones of the past.
