THE TUDOR ERA STYLE
The red wood, stone base, and old roof tiles accompanied by the style of door and window frames were common throughout this period.
THE 1930s STYLE
The most popular style was houses with mostly brick, mixed with other materials, shown here with a cream wall. The roofs had clay tiles and homes were often two-storey-ed.
THE CONTEMPORARY STYLE
The house of the "now". Architects and builders are increasingly experimenting with different materials and shapes to create bold, sleek designs far from the ones of the past.
